About Firearm Permit Certification
This class is an investment in your understanding of firearms, the law and how to effectively and safely use a firearm for self-protection.
It’s actually not so much about how to shoot, but when to shoot and WHEN NOT TO SHOOT.
As a result of your time in class and on the firing range you will meet the training requirements for a Minnesota Permit to Carry a Handgun, and for Wisconsin, Iowa, and a Florida Permits. Each state has it’s own standards and training requirements, but a Minnesota permit is honored by 29 other states. The addition of a Florida permit adds another 6 states to that list.
This course is basic firearms training, suitable for men and women who have never even picked up a gun before, although even experienced shooters will walk away having learned a few things new. It is longer than many because it is so comprehensive.
Included are
